Camp, Hire and Gas as it was formerly known opened its doors in 1989. It was a small shop that concentrated on camping equipment, small-scale hiring and gas sales. The founders were Darryl and Anne Berman who are still the current owners!

In 1994 Darryl and Anne decided to concentrate on the hiring out of function equipment. The name then changed to C.H.G Function Hire and they moved across to the old Hatfield post office, a historical building that was built over 65 years ago.

Since then C.H.G Function Hire has grown into one of the leading function hire suppliers in Pretoria. They have supplied many well known events including the Rugby World Cup, the Presidential Inauguration, Codesa (World Trade Centre), the annual Million Dollar Golf challenge at Sun City, University open days and more recently the Cricket World Cup. They have always maintained that no function is to big or to small.

Their success can be attributed to a name that they have built up for themselves with an excellent track record. The C.H.G Function Hire team consists of over 20 employees, they are all enthusiastic and look forward to making your function a great success with their experience, excellent service and reliability.
